When? And WhY?
When did counting become my future? I remember the days when I loved fortunes. A story, not always of joy was my answer, don't believe the phonies cause I gave truth. I never used a weak expressionistic crystal ball, hands were my guide to truth and vigilence.
When did slow decide to speed up? I remember when things came as they did. A time when a flow was better than a rush, those times when calm and cool were the new hit. Hung by a noose and suspended in time, "NO!, not I" said speed and sped off.
Whenever could one believe in peace? I remember when I was only 5 or so, when getting along was the objective of play. Besides creativity of course, it was what made you the coolest in the sand. All grown up and peace becomes a privledge that's hard to earn, inside or outside you're spied on in secrecy.
