The pensive silence broken,
By the gentle crystal melodies of her laugh,
Her face radiates a kind of light and sound,
Unimaginable,
But yet so tangible I can breathe it!
Her spirit,
I feel it flex within her waiting to stretch across the horizon,
Waiting to float on the wind and plummet down to earth,
Piercing my heart like an arrow.
I savour the moment before it has happened,
Already knowing the love that wraps me in its arms,
Yet love like the steel bars of a cage captures my heart,
It burns with a kind of strange euphoria,
Light to the touch and yet, an indescribable agony.
And so we spiral towards the centre of the universe,
Linking in the middle and joining as one,
Soaring heavenward and in a burst,
Our fragments of love spill earthward,
Pure illumination, baptizing all on whom it falls.
