Faith

When I walk

I'm Not alone,

For satan walks beside me.

He try to trick

and trys to taunt,

but I keep walking my way.

His harsh words

and scornful glares,

Stings just like an arrow.

But I keep strong

keep moving on,

Along the straight and Narrow.

He tugs and pulls

my heart apart,

until I feel it breaking.

But I keep walking,

While he is talking,

My faith I still am Keeping.

The light is warm

The voice is soft,

As god's arms I am reaching.

The choir sings,

The bells they ring,

and Angels they are speaking.

"You've fought your way

Every single day,

While satan wanted you.

But we have won,

Because you stayed strong,

And kept your faith in you."

So in the gates

I met my fate,

and dropped to my knees in prayer.

With tear filled eyes,

to my surprise,

My whole family standing there.

As I looked down,

and see the frowns,

I asked him Send me home.

With a look so firm,

Without a squirm,

I said, Im not yet done.

The world still needs me,

not yet to grieve me,

They need my songs of love.

My tasks not done yet,

I can not forget,

To raise my prescious son.

So in an flash,

the thundercrashed,

I awoke back in my bed.

I thanked him dearly,

and prayed sincerely,

And kissed my sons sweet head.

Now here I write,

with my heart tonight,

When time gets to rough,

Just think of this

my heavenly trip

and remember, faith is enough.
