Through all the heartache,
and thinking no one was there.
You stayed strong
and listened to me cry.
When death took our loved ones
and I felt he made a mistake
you held on
and kept me alive.

When cops came to our door
To deliver the bad news,
You hid your pain

After getting drunk at work.

It is good in content but I think you should do proofreading before the final product. Try to keep things in balance more, such as "work while he plays" then to "home when he sleeps" Otherwise, it is wonderful |
