losing time, searching for light

scared and falling, screaming, calling

hoping maybe someone can hear

your heart pacing, blood racing

shaky breath in the cold that you're facing

run blindly around, stumble, fall down

dark, and lonely, no light of morning

death eminent, time no more

words unheard, tears hit the floor

lay and wait, sight fades,
