A nightmare

The nightmare's were so real,

it woke me out of my sleep,

I walk around crying, thank God it was a dream,

afraid to fall back asleep, I lie awake a while,

I finally drifted off, going back to my dreams,

I wake up again, wanting to scream,

how can I dream these terrible things,

what was it that you were trying to tell me,

animals being killed, and me almost dying,

I saw myself starting to cross over, I heard your voice,

I wanted to be wtih you, but you said NO! I don't need you now,

I'm so scared and confused as to what had happend,

was it a dream of my future, what was going to be

I felt the vibes all day, not wanting to talk,

I replay it all over in my head, something is terriblly wrong,

I can still see the images as if I was there,

Please God, help me understand,

afraid to answer the phone, but then I finally do,

it's my sister at the other end, crying hysterically,

my dog is dying! her kidneys are shutting down!

I'm taking her to the hospital, I don't understand,

she's hooked up to Ivs, and stuff, lot's of test done,

they say she is a fighter, hopefully she'll win this one,

it look's like she been poisend ate some tainted food,

who could do this, who could be so cruel,

my nerves are shot now, not knowing what is to be,

Why did I have to be the one to have this dream?
