so theres this secret
that i hold inside
i should have never known
and now i need to tell
but i cant
even though i know i should
the size of this secret
is to big to describe
lives would shatter
if it ever spilled from my lips
but i came so close
to letting it go
but he would hate me
and i dont think i could handle that
and if i tell
one of my best friends would break
she would die
and it would be my fault
so maybe she should stay clueless
and he should keep this lie
the one that could break her
she trusts him so much
and i would hate to see her upset
so for now
my lips
yeah theyre sealed
so ill sit in the sidelines
and watch them live a lie
