Cebu, my homeland, shines the brightest

With its reigning might I salute

With its glorious past I admire

With its beauty I was mesmirize

With its beautiful and talented people I am proud.

Protected by the might of the Sto. Nino, the child Jesus

Cebu shines the most

With its rich and colorful culture the whole world is proud of you

To your beautiful island where the mother of festivals, Sinulog, starts

For it is destined that a great warrior, Datu Lapu-Lapu, will be born and protect you

He's the same warrior who first fought against the Spaniards led by Magellan

And the same warrior who won that battle to protect your kingdom.

Your beauty my Queen is incomparable

Your world class beaches are the home of your colorful fishes

It's also the home of the mermaids who sings with your beauty

It is the home of the migratory birds when winter falls

Your green mountains shows how beautiful you are

With the sun's radiance as your crown, the flowers as your scepter

And the beaches as your treasures.

How lucky you are my Queen!

For you're the home of the beautiful and talented Cebuanos

Whenever I look around I see their eternal smiles

Whenever I hear them singing their beautiful voices praise you most

Wherever I go I see the beauty of your people

And whenever they go they always shows how magnificient you are

We don't have any riches but you always taught us a million ways to be proud of our race.

North and South I can hear your voice

Your voice is as sweet as sugars

But it is meanigful like a prayer

The voice of your people is praising you
