Circus

Imagine life as a circus ring

We would be artists of the trapeze

As we let go of the spotlighted bar

We are born, we have our chance to fly

Our purpose is found in our flips and twists

But there will be the moment when we start to dip

We will free fall blindly and people will hold their breath

And though we can’t see him, the catcher is always there in the shadows

Strong wings outstretched to save us from death

And if we would trust that he is there, we would not fear the fall

But smile through the thrill of the unknown whizzing-by air
