It’s all shades of grey

Color has gone astray

Smiles have faded

I feel so weighted

A load on my soul

So out of control

All this while

Down I spiral

I pray for the rain

Wash away my pain

Hope is diluted

Love is disputed

When will my sun shine

Will everything be fine

Overflowing with dread

Is this all in my head

Take the clouds from my sight

Make the sun shine so bright

Bring me happiness once again
