Aria

A siren voice,
Through the chilled winds of the night,
As the moon pours light,
Searching for Venus at bay…

Soothing to the soul,
As her lullaby encompasses me,
Surrounds me with her,
Exciting my heart,
Confusing my mind…

How such a lullaby,
Of sweet a sweet narrative,
Could bring a storm of chaos in me,
And yet crave to hear more,
To discover the source…

Discover the source,
Through nothing but void,
As the sands of the deserts,
Seem to even disappear…

Staying there,
Floating in the air,
As nothing but void surrounds,
And her voice,
Her rivalry with the moon,
On blinding beauty…

A mysterious phantom of the night,
As her voice floats in the air,
Tonight,
Every night,
Searching for someone,
Searching for me,
Teasing me…

Every night the moon is full,
The world disappears,
And the winds chill,
As whispers become sweet,
With her haunting lullaby…
