Broken WIng...

I loved wind blowing through your hair,
you rescued me from my dispair.
An angel god had sent you here,
to wake me up from my nightmare.
You told me I had nothing to fear,
then suddenly you disappeared.

I thought our love you had betrayed,
but numb and lifeless, there you lay.
Breathing silence on your last day,
your eyes so pale no longer jade.
I held your hand as you began to fade,
hoping inside you would be okay,
then suddenly you slipped away

The morbid ice surrounds my soul,
I needed you, to have and to hold.
My warmest shadows seem so cold,
without you here all life turns dull.

I'll Never sleep through another night,
