Appointment

There's a face in the shadows
I know it is there
It's watching me
And waiting for the moment

I look in the shadows
And I see the eyes
Those horrible red gleaming eyes
The eyes that meet with mine

Everyday that goes by
I can see the figure more clearly
First red eyes
Then a skeleton face

My fear is growing
As I look at the face
I try to look away
But it seems the face
Is always in front of me

My fear has driven me mad
As the face gets clearer
Now it's a figure
A figure with a black cloak

The figure follows me
As I walk down the streets
The red eyes shine
On my terror-stricken face

As I run on the street
I see a light
The light grows bigger
Bigger and brighter

I stare at the light
For it's the stairway to heaven
Then I hear a loud sound
Then I feel a sharpening pain

Now I don't feel anything
My body is numb
My life gets sucked out
I'm now no more

I open my eyes and stare
At the crowd above me
I look down and see
See the horrible sight

I look at my body
So bloody and still
Then the face in the shadow appears
And stands beside me

I can see the figure perfectly now
It i so terrifying
His face is by bone
And with the face
Belongs the red gleaming eyes

It was my time
My time to leave
This cruel and unfaithful world
Leave it all behind

But,hey I'm not sad
I left the horror behind
Now I have no fear
Cause this was my fate
