Shedding Ignorance |
Home Skies
I used to think these trees were beautiful
Until I saw the sky
And I knew I had been sheltered
Knowing what I have been missing
I'm searching for a clearer view
Clearer skies
To dazzle my eyes
Make me appreciate
My roots are all tied up
Stuck wishing I would return
But it is hard to go home
After you thought, you were sure
That you had found a new one
In something you love
Where the skies have no clouds
No comments yet, be the first to say something.
