The Moon is Calling

Lips numb
fingers twisting
like an angry snake
Inside there is a beast
hungering
thirsting

This eternal desire
for satisfaction
is my curse
Luna hails me
to seek an innocent heart
out this night

Her cheeks are rosy
with naïtivity
My smile is sparkling
with a deep lust

I will tell her
all that her ears have always
been pining for
My fingers will brush her neck
I will feel her throbbing veins

She will be my lamb
And I am cooing to her
as she waits for the slaughter
She will tremble
filled with uncertainty

I will taste her fright
warm, flowing, and potent
Oh, just to feel her skin break
The beast will have won
another row
My chest aches
I am ravenous

Closing my eyes
I can already feel the ebb
the Moon is calling
My tongue
is bobbing behind my teeth

I want her to run
even though she has not even
regarded me yet
I want her to scream
to never look into my eyes
to save herself

But she oblivious
to the struggle
wreaking havoc in my head
I will not pull her into my horrid depths
Let her be, Luna!
She will not be my prey tonight
