These golden sunsets, like a fire
Caressing ocean tides
Trickling through the calming swell
The sands this motion hides

Our footprints fallen, like our souls
Our prints upon the shore
Our beating hearts enshrined at last
Our tender love still raw

Gazing into ember eyes
Burning like the dusk
Shadowed tones like ebony sweet
A scent like rising musk

Dancing dreams whos voices call
Drifting through the haze
The haze of love surrounding me
Surrounding my sweet daze

My love will wait and pray for me
Like tears of stormy days
Like falling rain drops caught in splendor
Parched for better ways

Is it enough to watch you sleep
Defenseless by my side
Holding on to all my love
Pretending for my pride
