Slice me open
(my body has become a canvas, my razor is the brush
i slowly move it around and watch the blood gush)
i cut ,no one notices, no one cares
i don't get shameful glances or disapproving stares
no one looks at me with wonder or asks any questions
no caring feedback, no pyscological suggestions
no "what did you get that from", "what happened to your wrist"
my life doesn't have a good ending or a happy twist
i take out my razor as i lock my bedroom door
i got away with the first few maybe i'll get away with more
if i knew it'd work, i'd cut the suicidal thoughts out of my head
but i go for my arm instead, the blood drips out of it, bright crimson red
i let it fall of my wrist, into my notebook
but before i close it i give the pages another look
the blood, smeared around like it was fingerpaint
with wet ink it became quite quaint
sooner or later, i know i will cut to deep
be knocked into a unwakeable sleep
but no one else cares, so why should i?
it'd be nothing but beautiful, the moment i fall to the floor and die
