I waited for you to call but I knew you wouldn't

I tried to hold back the tears but I knew i couldn't

the lonliness ran to strong

and you've been gone for way to long

I don't think I can ever forget about this pain I feel

It's just to much with not enough time to heal

I look back on the days we spent together

how we would hold hands and talk about forever

but then you started to loosen your grip on my hand

I thought it was something i did, i couldn't understand

you soon let go completely

stared to fade from me

I stopped smiling after a while

my tears ran cold and I became hostile

I was mad at everyone else for what you did

I now know that that was stupid

but I just couldn't hate you

now I realize how much i really do

and I'm sorry, it's just that sometimes I get so depessed and mad

because you are exactly like the friend I wish i never had
