Let her Lie

Wishing she would die with every day that goes on

Her body still here but her soul already gone

She drinks the liquor

Taking each shot a little bit quicker

Smoking to get to that unrealistic place

All the pain showing in her face

Having sex with guys she'd never dare to

Doing things she never thought she'd do

This is the last straw, she can't take this anymore

She's running out the door

getting in her car

Driving fast, driving far

Going through every red light

She wants to die tonight

She imagines everyone being sad

Having lost the person they never had

On the interstate and in the rain

The car is skidding, and she feels a surge of pain

She is hitting the brakes

Giving all it takes.....

She wakes to bright lights and people surrounding her

it all seems like a blur

She can barely move and her head is beginning to ache

no words come out as she tries to say it was a mistake

She doesn't want to die

tears fill her eyes as she's about to cry

Her parents looking as if they can't take it

the doctor walks in and says "she's not gonna make it"
