He’s afraid that he’s being watched.
He’s afraid that people think he’s weird.
He’s afraid that he’ll be rejected.
He’s afraid that they’ll hurt him.
He’s afraid that he’s losing his mind.
He’s afraid that he’ll be damned to hell.
He’s afraid that Satan is after him.
He’s afraid that God can’t help him.
He’s afraid that a demon with a name like thirty five single-spaced pages of wingdings is coming in a jet of magma from beneath the earth to rip apart his frail frame.
He’s afraid that he’ll be sucked, body and soul, into an existence of perpetual torture
He’s afraid that he’s going to be destroyed, and that there’s nothing he can do about it.
But I’m afraid that he’s afraid.
