Claim me

What does she have that's so good?

I could be your everything. I just I know I would.

She tosses you around like a ball in the courtyard

and teases your senses and puts up her guard.

Then she dangles you right in front of me.

I try not to look but its all I can see.

I run to my heart and wait for you there.

But you're not coming, you're nowhere.

So what do I do? Do I sit here and linger?

And watch her dangle you from her finger?

No!

It will be hard and I know it will pain me.

But I'll move on someday and maybe someone will claim me.
