I want something more

I cry, when I’ve had a bad day

I cry, when things don’t go my way

The tears flow and they flow fast

The pain is from the present, not the past

I have an urge for something more

I wish that happiness would open its door

I know I’m loved and I’m wanted

But sometimes that seems so overrated

I want peace and serenity

I want respect and dignity

Maybe one day this dream life I’ll find

And all this hurt and pain will be pushed aside

Hopefully sooner than later

My life will get better
