There’s this guy that I see each day

We joke around, cut up, and play

When I see him coming I smile and grin

He’s nothing more, he’s just a friend

I don’t know much about him, like where he’s from

I knew him for awhile before the flirting begun

He makes me laugh and seems real sweet

I can’t help but smile each time we meet

We flirt and smile but never touch

I’ve never flirted with anyone else so much

I don’t know why I feel this way

I find myself thinking about him throughout the day

I don’t know what to do or where to go from here

I like the way I feel each time he is near

I don’t know what or how he feels about me

Is it just fun and games, or is it something more he sees

I’m stuck with a decision, do I tell him how I feel

Or would it leave one of us with a pain so real

I think it would be safer to stick with the flirting

I like him so much, I’m afraid I’d hurt him
