Dear Julia,

 

I write to you because I want you to know

I’ve had feelings for you for so long

 

Since the first time I seen you in the 4th grade

My feelings have grown each and every day

 

I have been so scared to tell you the way I’ve felt

That seeing you walk away makes my heart melt

 

I know I’m your friend, but I’ve needed more

I needed a life between us to explore

 

Yesterday when you told me you were getting married

My heart broke and in a dark whole it’s buried

 

I’ve lived to love you and now I’m left empty inside

So, by the time you read this my body they’ll find

No one could ever have my heart, it belongs to you

I should have just told you instead of giving you clues

 

Now you’re gone and we can never be together

But my love for you will go on forever and ever
