Life is difficult throughout the years

From birth to three you can’t explain the tears

When four and five your starting school alone

No mother, no father, you cry and moan

At ages six, seven and eight you go to school more

You get told to do your homework when you walk thru the door

Then you turn nine or ten,

That is when the school teasing begins

Then your eleven and in the sixth grade

New school, new teachers, and new friends are made

At twelve and thirteen puberty begins

You wear cool clothes that way you blend in

When fourteen and fifteen, a new school again

Here is where the choices of drugs and dating begins

At sixteen and seventeen you’re growing more mature

You’re driving around and planning your future

From eighteen to twenty-five your decisions are for life

With college, work, and bills your strive

When twenty-six to thirty, you’re settling down

Your life long career and bigger decisions are found

From thirty-one to forty you live day by day

Decisions are easier because you’ve found your way

Then forty-one to fifty you judge your past

You sit and think how the years went by fast

Now fifty-one to sixty your age is creeping up on you

Small and easy tasks seem so hard to do

At sixty-one to seventy your life is nearing the end

You sit and think what you’ve done, where you’ve been

From eighty until whenever you planning for heaven
