Cold Smiles

To smile is to be happy
Isn't that what it's supposed to mean
Then why are all these people smiling
We're all hiding from each other
Walking through life without a reason
Passing by like nothing hurts us
The fake laughs with the pained eyes
A smile no longer has meaning
In a world thats so cold
And death seems so welcoming
