It was a Noted Yesterday
the time had passed when one could say, "it was a noted yesterday." the time had come for one to seek and gain repose amid the meek. the years had gone, had passed away with not so much as youthful play. and here upon the earth's torn dust the need for something else then lust. in fathoms deep upon the way one could wish but to repay the fee for one life nearly gone for which so little had been done. the time had passed when one could say, "it was a noted yesterday." there was no more to gaze upon, for life was finished, life was gone.

I love the feel of the poem. On the earths torn dust lay a man filled with lust. Trying to find salvation in what he seeks the man just must be weak. upon the table hath he sat to understand he was too fat....lol.. I hope you got a laugh out of this....I like your poem it is deep and I would like you to read my poem don't give up It is much better than the one written here. |
