Look To The Sky

Sometimes I look to the sky,

Try to find a reason why.

Things happen when they do,

How people say, "I Love You."

Without knowing the meanin,

Let alone the real reason.

Why they're saying it aloud,

Yet without thinking, they let it out.

Not knowing how bad it hurts,

To care yet get kicked to the curb.

So I'm tryna make it known,

By writing another poem.

Hopin that it's read by eyes,

Who've commited the crime,

Of hurting someone who cared,

For them and tried to share,

Everything they had with them,

But were stupid enough to let it end.

It happens everyday, a crime,

That causes the worst lies,

Stirs up the saddest cries,

And has some wishing they'd die.

But I'm here to tell you to hold on,

Don't let it bring you down, stay strong.

Cause through all the bad in the world,

You can always count on The Lord.

So whenever you start to feel weak,

Can't find any words to speak.

Raise your head and close your eyes,

Open your mind to him and look to the sky.

The only one who will always love you,

Never tell you a lie, and always stay true.

So put your faith in him, say a prayer,

Let him in your heart, so he'll always be there.

Because once you do that, (it's true)

God will always have your back. (No matter what you do.)
