9/11 Sacrifice

Frightened of what’s next and

Invisible in the smoke he is

Ready to die for someone to live and is

Eternally great-full for his family as he

Forces a smile as tears stream down he

Invisions the greatness of his selfless act and

Greets death with a smirk.

Happy he is no longer in pain and

Tearful of who he will miss

Every ounce of him starts feeling free and he is now

Ready to meet God at the gate.
