A little girl curled up beside me,
showing me what i couldn't see,
teaching me so much that I didn't know,
that i really don't have to go,
she needs me at this point in time,
and I’d help her at the drop of a dime,
she needs someone there to hold her,
as she falls asleep and forgets about the hurt,
of feeling like there's no one there,
but I’m awake, and I’m right here,
whenever you feel that you can't face life on your own,
remember you are NEVER alone.
