Lost Love

They say they forgot.

They say they let go.

They say they moved on,

But we all know.

They wear darker clothes.

They hide their face.

They frown at all times.

They've slowed their pace.

They always look down.

For this, we know why.

They fight back the tears,

They try not to cry.

They are so weak,

Yet, pretend to be strong.

We want to help,

So we play along.

They lost their love,

And can not forget.

For they, too,

Were in that wrech.
