I lead myself into believing things
Things that never seam to bring
a cure from this painful sting

I wear this burning halo
and its burden follows me wherever I go
I wear this brutal halo
how to get rid of it, i do not know

So hold me when I'm knocked down
Down on this cold desolate ground
And promise, you will always stay around

Because I wear this broken halo
And it reminds me I've done wrong
I wear this biding halo
And now I must stay strong

For I turned my back, and I must be alone
So alone, no place to call home
There's no helping me, its been writen in stone

I hate this mutilating halo
It's a reminder that I'm a mistake
Get rid of this halo
Because with it, I know I'm fake
