Why does this pain never seem to go away
Why does love knock you down when you think it's here to stay
Why do I always become abandoned
And I'm only left to become my own phantom
Why do people play with my heart
Why do they mislead me and leave me in the dark
Why do I fool myself into believing them
Knowing that they always leave me in the end
All that's left is my disappearing act
Time to turn my heart back to black
And i must wither away into missery
As I fade from your memory
