I said down the street not accross the road

I was just kidding, but it didn't show

It broke his heart, why didn't I know?

After that day, my scar ammount hasn't grown

He accepts me for the mess up I am

No matter my actions, he's there when I'm sad

I've pushed him away, and I've built a wall

He didn't let me avoid him, he didn't let my trust fall

As I always do I tried letting go

But he was there for me, and he let it show

I say things I don't really mean

But he puts that aside and see's the me that's unseen

Even when fake like I hate him

He waits with me till I let him in

I know its dumb that I don't tell him whats wrong

He tells me each time I shouldn't hold it in for so long

But I do, and its sad, but he lets me be me

I appreciate him, he's the only one that I need

I love him with everything I have to give

So if I'm hurt or depressed, I'll turn and see him
