i ripped up the memory
hoping id forget
but whyd i do that
now i face regret
i put it back together
section by section
never to be the same again
it only brought affliction
i cried over the torn pieces
wondering why i did it
but then i remembered
u wanted me to forget it
as i put them back together
i nearly fainted
the memory is still with me
except its torn and tainted

Wow. Great imagery, it sounds like you're tearing apart a memory like you'd tear apart a photograph... the imagery is just incredible - like a little video played in my head :-) |
