memories

lying in bed, thinking of the past.

reaching for my dreams, hoping it will last.

looking in your eyes, from the reflection of your face.

feeling im protected, inside your warm embrace.

i still remember the way you touched my heart.

never had imagined that we would be apart.

those times that we're together, i thought would last forever.

but then i wonder why we needed to say goodbye.

as i reminisce our precious memories, i hold onto my pillow and hug it tightly.

a tear begins to fall, and my heart begins to cry.

you know i love you and i really cant deny.
