The Way You Acted
I often times don't think you see,
The pain you've caused inside.
Because all the pain you've caused me,
I've tried to keep and hide.
The way you acted toward me,
I never felt it right.
You treated me like a nobody,
It worried me day and night.
You never called, you never cared,
Enough to make it last.
But it doesn't matter anymore,
I've put it in the past.
You told me what was on you mind,
Whether it was nice or not.
It made me mad, it made me cry.
Your words, they hurt a lot.
But now I think it's my turn,
To tell you how I feel.
And trust me when I say these words,
They're nothing but the truth and real.
You're not exactly what I'd call charming,
Self-centered and immature.
Not as strong as you'd like to think,
Mean, spiteful, and insincere.
Pushy, shovy, and demanding,
Not what most girls look for.
I've put up with you for way to long,
I just won't do it anymore.
My friends told me I was stupid,
That I was wasting my time on you.
I finally realizedwhat they meant,
and admitted it was true.
Your time is up,
You've had your fun.
There's no longer any'you and me'
Because the two of us are done.
