- Before you take that leap
- please think of what you’ll leave behind
- Is it really worth taking your life
- for the problems in your mind?
- Could u live a little longer?
- Can u be a little stronger?
- If you seen all those who care,
- would you find that you belong here?
- All of those smiling faces,
- on these kids will be replaced with
- painful memories of where you’ve gone.
- But you’ll choose to end this sorrow,
- knowing that maybe tomorrow
- life will find a way to carry on.
- Would the blood drops take away the pain?
- Will the tears falling to the floor
- make everything ok?
- I hope that u can find the strength to pray,
- to receive an epiphany that gives the need
- to live anther day.
- We’ll never know how many lives
- will be affected by the loss of yours.
- We’ll finally see you couldn’t face
- the pressure of your mental chores.
- The world has been oblivious
- to all your cries for help.
- The only thing that holds you back
- is the respect you have for yourself.
- How can we help you
- if we don’t know what’s on your mind?
- So before you take that leap
- please tell the ones you’ll leave behind.

wow this is really great, i came pretty damn close to taking that leap a few times. and looking back i can't believe how much i was to leave behind. it's a great poem! keep up the good work |

good poem with deep emotions. my grandpa committed suicide when he was 64 years old.... no one has any idea why. this is a really good poem. nice job. |

This is really good. I have been so depressed here lately and just the other night i was thinking in my head that i need a gun and that if i had one i would kill myself on May,8th because that will be my 17th birthday. My mind is always so crazy filled with suicidal thoughts but i dont actually do it! |
