An Urging Prayer in Poetry

Addiction

Truly does add to the confliction

Is God real or just a weak minded apparition

A Solution?

Or just part of this institution

Adding to the chaos that surrounds us in confusion

Redemption

God's grace in love, extension

We're bad enough to burn, but in faith become His children

 

Why do we as Christians

Think we're better than the rest

We're all the same

When that triple beam is sighted on our chest

We're not immortal

But we force personal order

Like our view's The Word and we've

Become more than His son or daughter

 

Why can't we pray

And just give it all up to God

Live a life of faith

And let Him mold us as He wants

Cause if we don't

We're pinning Christian against Christian

And the Devil's already won
