Friendship Gone Wrong

I do not know why we can’t be friends,

I believe that we should not even talk.

But it does not hurt to have a friend,

You don’t even look at me when we walk.

I can never explain how much this hurts,

I could never imagine this ending.

By now our friendship is turning to dirt,

All because of you my heart is bending.

Because of you I will never be the same,

They are happier now that we are through.

I realize that our relationship was lame,

Maybe with the next guy it will be true.

With I think about him, I still have hope.
