If you choose to leave,

I will miss you everyday,

Instant messaging,

Won’t be the same,

As the nights,

We spend together,

During the summer,

Don’t exist no more,

Calling is less frequent,

Since the cost is high,

So hearing your voice,

Becomes a distant memory,

And as I stand there,

Graduation day,

And throw my hat into the air,

Someone missing,

As you grow farer still,

I leave for college,

In a different state,

As the news comes you’re back,

But for the message came to late,

The plane is in the air,

As I come to a new land,

Wondering where my best friend is,

She’s at home my mind tells me,

Where everyone else you love is,

But this was you’re choice,

Now you’re the one who gone,

But most of all my best friend,

I want you to know,

If you choose to leave,

I understand you still,

Since I want to leave for college,

I can’t blame you for,

Wanting to leave for another country,
