In a World of Tragedy...

what would this world be like with no hope

what would this world be like with nothing to help us cope

what if in the end i really did not matter

what if in the end after every heart had shattered

millions of tiny pieces now laying on the ground

millions of lives left hopeless take a look around 

no one to pick them up and put them back together

no one to wipe the tears from our eyes not now not ever

imagine this life so full of pain with no escape

imagine a tragedy of mass murder and rape

nothing you did would make a difference

nothing you did would change this expierence

For some a world as such is not too hard to imagine

For some it is all a myth that could never happen

they do not realize we live in a world not unlike this

they do not realize because they too are caught up in the myth

the difference is subtle but it is there

the difference is we have hope let me share

Jesus Christ wants to help ease our pain

Jesus Christ suffered and died for you your life to gain

He is there waiting for you

He is there calling for you

Just open your heart and let him in

Just let Jesus heal your wounded soul again
