Acid Tears

these tears that burn my eyes

i shed them to help me get by

but in the end it hurts the same

i think of my failures and become ashamed

i wish that it would be all better

i wish that i could write you a letter

to tell you how i really feel

and maybe your heart would be changed from steel

i cry these tear to forget the pain

but the tears sting my eyes

and i can't see

it's tearing apart the inside of me
