Star Swept.

Fight to the top/ through all of the shit/ I know that you'll get to the bottom of it/ all the stories and the lies/ oh how time flies/ when the  dredges of society spit in your face/ you cry out to the world/ I'm naught but disgrace/ I'm screaming into the wind/ all of my pain/ I know that you all think I've gone insane/ but I'm still here/ and I'm not gonna leave/ you won't get rid of me that easily/I'm more then you think I am/ I'm the daughter of time/I'm dreaming again/ Flying among the skies again/ free as a dragon/ crying to the sky/ god do you know how it feels to fly/ to close your eyes and let yourself fall/ getting away from the pain of it all/ feeling gravity calling out/ come back to me darling/ you can't get out/ but to defy that call/ and reach to the stars/ flying out above all the cars/ watching the moonlight iluminate my scars/ release all the pain/ let it fall away/ forget all the debts you have to pay/ dance around in a swirl of color/you know that you'll never find another/ place thats quite as pretty as this/ say goodnight to it all with a bittersweet kiss/ and return to the earth/ the pain and the torture/ but never again/ will I ever forget/ the night I flew/and into the stars I was swept/
