Story of an broken angel.

There's this girl I know/ She's such a sweetheart/ She's got this inner glow/ That sets her apart/ On the day that I met her/ I knew from the start/ That this crazy young goddess had captured my heart/ She was wearing jeans under a skirt/ with grass in her hair/ She ignored the people that stopped to stare/ She was reading a book/ don't remember the name/ but underneath the cover so tame/ I could feel her fire/ She was holding back a strong desire/ to throw off her mask and scream to the crowd/ I'm better then you/ But I stared in her eyes/ those pools of black glass/ I could feel her power/
But my little princess is falling down/ Her dress is all muddy/ she's broken her crown/ Her smile is gone/with tears in its place/ Its so bad I can't/ recognize her face/ That glow I love so very much/ has gotten so dim/ i can't even touch/ that place in her heart/ where I used to belong/ I look at her and wonder/ what went so damn wrong?
She trusted the wrong boy/ He treated her bad/ threw her away/ like a toy he had had/ my sweet little angel/ she gave up her life/ in the hopes this assh*le would make her his wife/ he ran her into the ground/and when he was done/ he grabbed her by the hair and pulled out his gun/ he shot my baby/ the girl that i loved/ and left her for dead/ an image I'll never get outta my head/ and thats where I found her/ my sweet little love/ I took her home/ and with some love and care/ healed my baby/ and I saw there/ a glimmer of the girl she once had been/ almost destroyed by that jerkoff's sin/ I thank my god/ Every day/ for seeing it fit to let her stay/ I thought I had lost her/ but instead I won/ I'll make her happy till her time is done/ then I'll lay her to rest/ that queen of my heart/ and wait for our eternity to start.
