First Buck of the Season |
Early Morin ride
I wake,
look out my window.....
its still dark,
i smile
as i slip on my jeans and shirt
I grab my boots
I walk quitley down the stairs,
not to wake my dad.
then once outside I
slip on my boots, then I walk out to the barn
and see him
hes standin that waitin
knowin that I want him
I throw a rope of his neck,
tye em to the fence,
then throw the saddle on him,
slip the briddle over his head
and swing into the saddle
turn him away from the house,
and ride out to the pond
I wake the cattle, stirin em up a lil
then pull my horse up and look at the sunrise
over the mountain, with it relefting in the pond,
I hear the bell ringin, sayin
breakfast is surved,
I wounder where the time it
I turn myhorse around and run back to the house
and jump of my horse to go and eat, before a hard day gatherin cows
