Find Yourself in You
When you dance in the rain
When romance mends your pain
When laughter fills you veins
When you take a hold of the reins
When the wind hits your face
When your run backwards in the race
When there’s no such thing as haste
When you truly understand the amazing grace
When stars pull you in
When you’re lost of all burden
When you find Christ within
When you find beauty that’s always been
When you realize someone cares
When you realize that He was always there
When you feel lighter than air
When you fall over in your chair
When the sand’s between your toes
When happiness is no longer stowed
When there is no longer woes
When no one stoops so low
When you laugh yourself to sleep
When you climb a hill so steep
When sadness is reaped
When you don’t have to look so deep
When happiness is true
When your soul is renewed
When you drink too much Mountain Dew
When you find yourself in you.

This is pretty cute. I like it; there could be some better vocabulary/rhyming, and it could've flowed a little easier, but this is good. I find that happiness is possibly one of, if not the, hardest emotion to capture. Thanks fer the read/best wishes-Lozer™ |
