Being myself will never be good enough
Darkness rains upon me
Hiding the drops on my face
Being different isn’t easy
In matter of fact, its hard in this human race
Wish someone would understand
The pain concealing smile
My life’s at hand
Yet the depression continues to pile
No one to trust, No one to confide
So continues each broken heart
So continues the rising tide
My world is breaking apart
No cares to listen
No one wants to know
Happiness has risen
As I am sinking ever so low
Not allowed to be different
Not allowed to stand out
Away its going, away it went
Filled with everlasting doubt
Can’t live in this world
Without being judged
Thoughts are starting to whirl
As hope doesn’t budge
Being myself will never be good enough
In a world full of hatred, yet no love.
