The God Paradox

Views (94) Other Created on 9-27-07 Flag

This day have I thought

Thought and thought have I

But no conclusions have appeared

So my paradox continues on by

My paradox of God

Yes, the one said to live in the sky

I find no evidence of His lofty presence

Yet have I reasons to believe He is up high

I think a bit more

Yes, do I think and think again

Still no conclusions

Why did these thoughts ever begin?

cmmtx My faith is fickle. I find 'faith' a trap of religion. It is to say that one should have 'faith', not reason. I disagree with this. We have minds for intellectuality, molded by natural curiosity. Faith IS fickle.

nolenkatie Ahhh....you have just defined "faith" my friend. Believing without seeing. Good job.

goodgurl8504 Love it! I think we all know what it's like to want proof, but still believing in spite of it... Very good!

perdylilpyro I like the style this poem is written in, it flows in an almost spiral motion as if to mill over your thoughts once or twice as you float between ideas.

I also like that you're thinking :)
