On to the Next Round |
An Everpresent Paradoxical
My mind rumbles at times.
Oh yes. But in vain?
This I do not know.
For it's due to something I cannot change.
I sit here in a peaceful place.
Oh yes. A quiet and little secure room.
All the while around the world people are suffering
and quickly meeting their doom.
What am I to think or to do
That my mind can run again?
From this I sprout a meaningful shout.
"Oh God just make the suffering end!"

There you go again, making me think. I feel we have all felt "doomed" at times. It a good thing that we have people around us that pull us out of it. Great job! |

Yes, this anxiety or overwhelming feeling of unfairness on the doomed and mistreated, seems to come about at times. And that, when least expected. It is not a good feeling. No, not at all! However, thanks to the art form of poetry, the feelings are able to be beautified. And this did I try to do. Thanks you once again for taking the time to enjoy my mind. |

Sounds like you might have been feeling some anxiety while writing this...I think we all feel a little frustrated when we think about world events and how helpless we can be. |
